Know the best time when you can do it – Generally, people suggest that one should practice yoga during morning hours only. But as most of us are working people, so doing it early morning may not be possible for everyone. However, if you feel that you can just take a few minutes out of your morning schedule, it will be great. Because doing yoga in the morning can help you the whole day, as it will keep your mind free from stress. But in case you are not able to do it in the morning, go for evening hours. But make sure you are able to take time for it either in the morning or in the evening.

Decide a place where you want to do yoga – It depends on the person by person, that where they would like to practice yoga. Some people prefer to practice yoga in a closed room. Some people prefer joining yoga classes for it, as they feel that doing it with others motivate you. Whereas, some people prefer it doing in the garden area so that they can get fresh air as well. So, it is up to you that which surrounding area you prefer more for practicing yoga.

Start with simple yoga poses – Why we are saying that start with simple or beginner yoga poses? Because, if you will start with the tricky and some difficult yoga poses, you will find it quite difficult to do. This will make you quit yoga within few days only or may be in the next two days only. Remember that you have to start everything from the basics only. You cannot jump to advanced yoga without having knowledge about beginner’s yoga. In this case, we also suggest you go for some yoga learning classes. Or take help from any yoga instructor, who can guide you with the basic yoga poses. Once you have learned some simple yoga poses, you can bring them in practice every day.

Keep the variation in Yoga Poses – Doing the same thing every day can also become monotonous and boring. So, if you have taken the yoga teacher training in India, and you know different yoga poses, then you can practice different yoga poses. You can repeat the yoga poses alternatively. Decide that these particular set of yoga poses you will practice on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s. And the other set of yoga poses, you will do on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Saturday’s. By doing this, you will enjoy practicing yoga more and more.

Set the time for how long you want to practice yoga – Initially, we will not ask you, that do yoga for 30 minutes or for one hour. You can start with just 10 minutes or maybe 15 minutes. This will help you in bringing it in practice more and more. As when you will know that you only have to do it for 10 minutes, you will not feel boring or lethargic for doing it. After some time, when you develop the habit of doing it regularly or when you start enjoying it, you can increase the time as per your own convenience.

Look for a partner for practicing yoga – For many people, it becomes quite difficult to practice yoga alone. As they feel boring, and they do not feel the need to do it every day. But when there are two people or more than two people who are practicing yoga together, they keep motivating each other. So, this really helps in practicing yoga regularly. If you are not able to find a partner for doing yoga, you can take help from yoga instructor also. By doing it with yoga instructor, you will not just get a company to do it. But also, you will be able to learn more forms of yoga.

Stop worrying even if you are not doing poses correctly – This is also one of the reasons why people stop practicing yoga on a regular basis. Because when they start yoga, they try copying others. They feel that they can learn any pose in just one day, which is not possible. Because yoga is something, which you learn by practice. So, the more you will practice the more perfect you will become. That is why we suggest you to not worry about perfection especially when you are trying any yoga pose for the first time.
